Former General Counsel of the Mexican Association of Pharmaceutical Research Industries (AMIIF).

He managed legal and government affairs areas in transnational companies dedicated to the health sector such as AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.


In 2015, he established CG&A, Legal and Public Affairs. He is currently the Managing Partner.

This firm collaborates with industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer and healthcare, construction, banking, livestock, entertainment, and foreign trade.

Former Professor at the Law School of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the National Polytechnic Institute, and the Panamerican University.

In addition, he was an advisor to the Business Coordinating Council (CCE) for the Committee for a Single Economy.

Regarding the regulation of medical cannabis, he promotes access to safe and effective therapies for the benefit of patients.

“Drug shortage has not been solved by the government, which undermines society. Additionally, there have been multiple "administrative" changes to “address” the situation in health service provision. Access to healthcare must be a top priority in the upcoming political agenda of the Mexican government.”
