Associate Consultant in Market Access

A health professional with a background in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, complemented by postgraduate studies in Pharmacoeconomics at UNAM. Her academic training includes specialized programs in Market Access and Health Technology Assessment at Harvard University; Health Technology Assessment at HS Estudios Farmacoeconómicos; Genomic Sciences Applied to Health at the National Institute of Genomic Medicine; Pathology, Immunohistochemistry, and Molecular Biology tools at the National Institute of Pediatrics; and Health Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho, among others.

She brings 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held leadership roles in Mexico and Latin America across key strategic areas such as Market Access and Health Economics, Sales, Marketing, Precision Medicine, Patient Support Programs, and New Business Development within multinational companies.

Her expertise in Market Access and Health Economics focuses on the development of strategies for the inclusion of innovative treatments—both in primary care and high-specialty medicine—across national formularies and institutions, including the General Health Council, IMSS, ISSSTE, the Ministry of Health, PEMEX, SEDENA, SEMAR, decentralized public agencies, and the private sector. Her work emphasizes the design and implementation of clinical and economic value propositions versus competitors, health technology assessment, development of pharmacoeconomic models, and the management of governmental and civil society networks to ensure timely and sustainable access to medicines for patients.

She has served as a speaker at numerous pharmaceutical industry forums, public health institutions, and universities, contributing her expertise to academic and professional audiences.
