Lawyer by profession with more than 17 years of experience in the health sector, from a legal and public affairs perspective, and MBA from Herriot-Watt University.
He collaborated for law firms, and later served as General Counsel of the Mexican Association of Pharmaceutical Research Industries (AMIIF), to later direct legal and government affairs areas, respectively, in transnational companies dedicated to the health sector such as AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
In 2015 he founded the firm CG&A, Legal and Public Affairs, of which he is the Managing Partner, which collaborates with industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer and health care, construction, banking, livestock, entertainment, foreign trade, among others.
He has been a professor at the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, the Instituto Politécnico Nacional and the Universidad Panamericana.
He is an advisor to the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial (CCE) for the Comité Por Una Sola Economía (Committee for a Single Economy).
He promoted, negotiated and led, with the member countries, the creation of the chapter on Medical Devices within the Pacific Alliance, which today operates with excellent results in regulatory harmonization and trade exchange. He has also published articles and opinions in various fields from a legal and public policy perspective, and has taken and taught several diploma courses and specialties in intellectual property, health law, lobbying and others.
In November 2019 he was ranked as one of the one hundred best lawyers in the country, for his knowledge, technique, professionalism, ethics and client service. In October 2020 it was ranked again, for the second consecutive year. And in 2023 it was awarded as one of the Firms in Expansion.
